What is Tai Chi & Qigong?

Unlike  strenuous  Yoga and other Martial Arts,  the  slow fluid movements of Qi Gong and  Tai  Chi   are designed to increase the flow  of energy in the body, relieving block-ages   that  cause  pain  and  other  health problems without adding more stress.Tai Chi  &  Qigong  are  styles  of  moving meditation. The deep abdominal breathing massages  the  internal organs to increase circulation.  The rhythmic movements lead to  a  relaxed  mind  and  body.   This combination   develops a deeper connection to one’s   mind  and  body  and  with  practice increases control of one’s internal energy.

How does it work?

Tai  Chi  & Qigong practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system relaxing the body and increasing the production of endocrine-activating neurochemicals causing the release of hormones that enhance vitality and boost immunity.

The best Tai Chi & Qigong classes are optional. Provide employees with the option of working or attending the class, but do not make the seminar mandatory. Most people will opt for the seminar to get a break from work anyway, but the quality of the seminar is completely different if the employee has chosen to be there. This is the first step in an employee creating his own healthy lifestyle. If it's someone else's idea, we resist, but if we feel empowered to change ourselves, we have a vested interest in a positive outcome.

Some companies may reward Tai Chi practitioners with a 30-minute morning break, instead of drinking coffee and sodas for 15 minutes, they use the 30-minute break to attend morning Tai Chi classes in the area provided.
